Aaron is the Technical Director at LBO Management, bringing extensive experience across IT systems, audio-visual engineering, and live event production. He bridges technical strategy with on-the-ground execution, overseeing sound, lighting, staging, and digital infrastructure to ensure every setup runs flawlessly. Known for his calm, practical problem-solving, Aaron works closely with clients and crews from initial technical planning right through to live show delivery, turning complex logistics into seamless event experiences.

Connor is the Founder and Director of LBO Management, with four years of experience working across Aotearoa’s live events, productions and festivals. Connor started freelancing in 2022, working in sound and lighting before moving into event management, audio production and running his own events. He is also the founder and organiser of Christmas on the Lawn, overseeing everything from planning and suppliers through to production and the event day. Connor takes a hands on approach to his work and is involved from the early planning stages through to making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Liam O'Grady

Liam brings experience across business, event marketing and audience engagement, working closely with the LBO team across a range of events and projects. He works with promoters, councils, businesses and event partners, helping develop ideas and turn them into creative campaigns, event concepts and experiences that connect with audiences. Liam is involved across the full process, from developing creative ideas and marketing campaigns through to event promotion, content, setup and on-the-day operations.

Our Journey

2022

Started as 404 Sound & Lighting

Connor and some mates originally started freelancing, doing DJ, sound, and lighting hire in Wellington.

2023

Established Rave Events Group

Evolved into Rave Events Group, offering full audio, lighting, and event management/production, as a local Wellington Audio/Visual company.

2024

Organised Christmas in the Hutt

Provided full Audio/Visual experiences for functions across Aotearoa. Created a memorable charity Christmas event for Upper Hutt to share the festive spirit and support Starship Hospital.

2025

Rebranded to LBO Management

Evolved into LBO Management, focusing on event management and promotion. Successfully ran Christmas on the Lawn in collaboration with the Hutt City Council
